Artist Statement

Every time someone lays eyes on something I’ve made, all I want them to think is “wow, that’s pretty cool.” With focus on a visual centerpiece, there shouldn’t be a need for intentional dissection and discussion of interpretation. When I draw something, it simply is. I wear my inspirations on my sleeve, from acclaimed action manga authors to breakdowns of various martial arts contests and many more. My ideas are intended to portray visual storytelling and movement. I want implied motion to be obvious, and characterization to speak for itself. The impacts of a fight, the pull of gravity, the values of a character in how they present themselves. These are what drives my intention when I make art.
